Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the tranquil wilderness of Port Burwell, Earthquest Lodge offers a serene getaway with its spacious rooms and welcoming atmosphere. the kind hosts graciously accommodated our early arrival, ensuring a seamless check-in experience. the room exudes warmth with its wooden decor and well-equipped kitchenette, perfect for enjoying a cozy night in. Though the beds were comfortable, they were better suited for solo sleepers rather than couples. The lodge's proximity to Burwell Public Beach allows for leisurely strolls along the shore, immersing oneself in the beauty of the surroundings. Despite the absence of air conditioning, the gentle breeze from the floor fan provided a comfortable night's rest. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the inviting fire-pit area, ideal for cozy evenings under the stars. The peaceful ambiance of the area, coupled with the attentive staff, made our stay truly memorable. While we didn't need car hire or tours, the lodge's convenient location and free WiFi made exploring the nearby attractions a breeze. Overall, Earthquest Lodge offers a delightful retreat for nature lovers and those seeking a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
